I am Anna Valmero, a multimedia reporter based in Manila, Philippines. I work on stories covering business, the environment, and lifestyle. I believe that living a green lifestyle and climate change activism should be communicated well so that people can understand that climate change is an issue for everyone, not only for scientists or authorities. As a fellow to the International Women's Media Foundation's training on environmental reporting, I believe being part of the Biodiversity Media Alliance will allow me collaboration with fellow journalists and technical experts, thus enhancing my personal network and others who want to learn from the Philippine experience on climate change and mitigation.
