I graduated in Forestry Science at the Faculty of Agriculture of Firenze University (Italy) in the 1990, and a Master of Science in “Agroforestry” at University of Florida, Department of Forest Resources and Conservation of Gainesville – Florida (USA) in the 1994. I am currently Secretary General of PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) Italia, since 2001 and official representative of Italian Environmental and Agricultural journalists in IFAJ (International Federation of Agricultural Journalists) since the year 2009.
I worked as a researcher for the Soil Erosion Research Station of Israel in the year 1991 and 1992, as forestry consultant in Brasil in the year 1995 and as technical journalist from 1995 till year 2000 with forestry magazine “Sherwood – Forest and trees today”, from 2004 till 2008 with forestry magazine “Alberi e Territorio” and component of the Editorial staff of the magazine “AF - Agronomi e Forestali” from 2001 till 2012. I am now Editor of “Eco delle Foreste” web magazine.
