- I am Ayele Kebede Gebreyes graduated from the University of Klagenfurt (Austria) in natural resource management studies with specialization in Management of Protected Areas (MSc.). I studied my first degree in Biology at Addis Ababa University and Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Environmental Management at Swedish Institute of Public Administration (SIPU).
I have more than two decades of practical work experience in environmental advocacy, natural resource and NGO management. I worked as Regional Curriculum Expert, Deputy Director of Forum for Environment (FfE) and Senior Program Manager of Ecology and Climate Change for the Heinrich Boell Foundation (HBF). Currently I am working for Panos Eastern Africa, Country director for Ethiopia.
