More than two decades in science journalism and development--with a special interest in the environment--have helped me develop the long view on biodiversity. Like all of us in these extraordinary times, I'm still learning. In June I finish a stint as staff writer at the International Institute for Environment and Development to relaunch as an editorial consultant and freelancer. I look forward to further discovery in this area and in communities like this one.
