- I am an Indian journalist based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha (previously Orissa). Started career in media in the year 1992, I have worked in print, broadcast as well as online media.
I take interest in reporting and writing on issues related to forest, environment, development, conflict and issues concerning livelihood and rights of people.
A passionate Journalist, editor and Documentary producer, I have learnt the ropes of journalism and mass communication from my experience in different forms of media. However, I have completed a one-year course in science journalism.

Famous in this part of the world as a habitat of big cats and elephants, among a variety of other mammals, birds and reptiles, Similipal is a thickly forested hill range in Odisha’s northern most district of Mayurbhanj.
