I am an Indian journalist based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha (previously Orissa). Started career in media in the year 1992, I have worked in print, broadcast as well as online media.
I take interest in reporting and writing on issues related to forest, environment, development, conflict and issues concerning livelihood and rights of people.
A passionate Journalist, editor and Documentary producer, I have learnt the ropes of journalism and mass communication from my experience in different forms of media. However, I have completed a one-year course in science journalism.

Biodiversity takes centre stage in Odisha’s silent valley

Community protection holds hope for climate change affected Similipal sanctuary

Famous in this part of the world as a habitat of big cats and elephants, among a variety of other mammals, birds and reptiles, Similipal is a thickly forested hill range in Odisha’s northern most district of Mayurbhanj.
