I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where one of my specialties is environmental communication. I became involved in communicating biodiversity through my research on the environmental impact of tourism in Southeast Mexico, site of the Sian Kan biosphere, and through more recent work with Worldwide Views on Biodiversity. I am currently writing a chapter for book on different aspects of the Worldwide Views experience and future prospects.
