Sustainable Business and Green Development

Fourteen years after graduating from college with a B.S. in Environmental and Forest Biology, Wildlife Management concentration, I have decided to return to school.  I am just about to begin a program to earn an MBA in Sustainable Business, with a focus on Green Development.  Environmental issues have been interests of me for pretty much my whole life, and I thought that this degree would be a good way of combining that interest with my experiences in the business/retail world.  Would be very…See More

I am very interested in all issues pertaining to the environment and biodiversity conservation. I have a B.S. in wildlife biology, and have worked as a zookeeper, state wildlife biologist (in the Everglades), and environmental educator. Although I am currently working in the retail pet industry, I maintain a very strong interest in environmental issues, and try to keep up on all the latest news. Since the summer of 2006 I have been working on a short survey regarding personal views of nature and the environment, and I am very interested in the intersections between religion, culture, society and nature/the environment. To date I have gotten back more than 700 responses from around the globe, which I am posting at the blog I created for the project, http://earthsurvey.blogspot.com At some point in the future I hope to develop this into a book/other publication and possibly a documentary. I am still accepting responses, and am looking for as wide a range of participants as possible. Feel free to contact me directly for more information, and if you would like to take the survey online, it can be accessed at http://tinyurl.com/nx4ng7
