I am a trained scientist and journalist. In my work, I try to bridge the gap between scientists and journalists. In Africa, the public gets most of its information from the media and it is about the only means of communicating science. I believe in the science-led development of Africa and I see a great role for science journalists as Africa struggles to earn its place in the community of nations.
