I have been volunteering with Sand scribe as a Communication and Public Relations Officer since December 2013. I am a journalist, manager, public relations expert, and development officer with a wide range of experience in international and national organizations. I worked as a radio journalist for the BBC Media Action and Radio Fana, and as a PR and fundraising manager for the Oromiya Development Association, an Ethiopian charity. I also worked for World Vision as child sponsorship, development, and protection officer. I also had served as a district general manager and head of the Office of Justice at Addis Ababa City Government. I am currently working as a country communication officer for The Fred Hollows Foundation, which provides eye care in over 27 countries. He is also a founder and president of the Oromia Journalist Association (OJA). I have earned my BA degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from Addis Ababa University and studying for my MA in Leadership and Management at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology. I am the Founder and President of the Oromia Journalists Association (OJA).
