I am a freelance writer and photographer working in India. I have been writing on wildlife and conservation issues for many years now. I edit a bimonthly newsletter called Protected Area Update, which is published by the environmental NGO. I am also author of 'Troubled Islands - Writings on the indigenous peoples and environment of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands' (2003) and Joint Editor of the Kalpavriksh- UNESCO publication 'Jarawa Tribal Reserve Dossier - Cultural and Biological Diversities in the Andaman Islands' (2010).
