Involved in environment and development aspects for the last 15 years. Worked for the 600 habitations (10 districts) involved in Joint Forest Management / community forest management in parts of Andhra Pradesh State. Studies the livelihoods of tribals and their relationships with forests in parts of Rajmahal (Jharkahand), Melghat (Maharashtra), Jagdhalpur (Chattisgarh). Under National Environmental Awareness Programme, created awareness in parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states. Through GEO Spirit meets conducted awareness on environment and ecology to various participants in Andhra Pradesh State. Involved in the vulnerability assessment, adaptation and mitigation activities for two climate change projects in India. Worked for the sustainable livelihoods of 2500 villages in 5 districts in Andhra Pradesh state.
