- I am the Director of Global Programmes for Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) , a worldwide organisation working with botanic gardens on plant conservation and environmental education. I am responsible for BGCI's activities in relation to global plant conservation policy, especially the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation and am involved in producing a wide range of plant conservation related publications.

Plants for the Planet - new campaign to promote plant conservation
‘Plants for the Planet’ is the new online campaign launched by Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) to raise the profile of plants in the biodiversity debate and demonstrate popular support for plant conservation.
