I have been fighting for biodiversity conservation since 1985. I wrote the handbook: What is biodiversity? (2003) and 14 books on sustainable development and climate change, all of them include biodiversity conservation. I also have been a columnist in Bolivian newspapers, where I wrote about different aspects of biodiversity conservation.
I have been promoting the campaign: Madidi Without Oil !, The Madidi National Park is one of the richest biodiversity areas in the world but is threatened by oil explotation and other economic activities.
