Wangari Ndirangu is my name and has been a journalist for over 6 years now. My major is environmental stories and anything science. i am a member of Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) which champions for womens rights and also representation in the media. I am also a member of Kenya environmental and Science Journalists (KENSJA) which has opened doors for me in terms of research, and access environmental stories.
I have attended a one year programme exchange programme in Zambia where i used to write on environment and also bring out issues on broadcast concerning science . i have also attended several science trainings both in the country and outside.,

I always tell people out there that i did not venture in science journalism just to write but i have a passion for science and love travelling alot. Because of this passion i have traversed areas that people dont like going just to get myself a good story....
