As a freelance journalist who has lived in Japan for the past five years, I have written for Yale Environment 360, Mother Earth News, Ode, and Dwell. I regularly write about nature and science for the Japan Times, the country's oldest English-language daily, and the Japan Journal. I am also co-editing a special biodiversity issue of the Kyoto Journal. I plan to cover the COP10 conference this October.
