Cuneo hosted meeting of Greenaccord network again. Environmental journalists from more than 50 countries met from 19th to the 22nd October, 2011, in a town near Italian-French border.
There were a lot of new environmental-economic visions for more sustainable world, journalistic talks in pauses and bus-trips to nice towns nearby -Alba,Saluzzo. We missed all colleuagues which could not come, and devoted the conference to Yuri Eldyshev, our friend and editor of Russian magazine "Ecology and life", who died in June this year.

After each conference we publish interesting features,so these are some. Yu-Tzu Chiu, a journalist from Taipe,Taiwan, published blogpost "Seven billion people and a trillion trees". One of the lecturers was Felix Finkbeiner, young environmental activist promoting UN campaign to plant trees across the world. It was inspiring, reminder that activism can shot up boring talks. American journalist Christine MacDonald wrote about the "Occupy movement" and wether it could give a boost to climate activism When It Comes to the Environment, Are We the 99 Percent or the 1 Pe....
My Croatian-languague articles, first about apsurds of economic growth and another about Cuneo,a peacefull and quite town at the end of Italy, where newspapers bring front page top news about burgle of cash-machine in nearby village.
