Hi dear all!
I'm called Irene. I'm from Cameroon, Central Africa. I am a graduate from the Advanced School of Mass Communication. Presently I live in Yaoundé the capital city, but my native land is Far North-Cameroon. You must have heard about floods in my country these days. My home town is directly concerned by this unhappy incident. In fact, my home town is a place where people always withness water scarecety. It rains just 3 months per year, the rest of time, the whole place is dry. But every year, at the eve of the rainy season, the local population is sad, instead of being happy. This is because when the rains start, it destroy our houses and crops. As journalits we decry this situation because government fails to envisage long lasting solutions. Water is essential for life, but when it destroys lives, it becomes desastreous.
