I am a Sociologist by education who started a grassroots group in a remote pocket of India while a student in the University. Ever since its inception the group has been working on local natural resources management. For the last one decade, we have promoted a network that works as a lobby and advocacy network on biodiversity including water and climate change. I have also been a freelance contributor on environment and development issues to several national and international publications.
