I am an environmental journalist from Tanzania, based in Mbeya City, in the Southern Highlands Zone region of the country.

I have been in the field since 1996 when I joined a local English Newspaper, The African where. In February 01, 2010 I shifted to Kiswahili Weekly paper, Raia Mwema.

The motive behind my move to Raia Mwema was basically influensed by my audience which is Swahili speakers and since environmental issues affect mostly common people, with here Swahili speakers, I found myself to have a need to shift to Swahili newspaper so that I reach a big audience.
