Agrobiodiversity is biodiversity too

Good idea to better connect journalists and media people with the world of biodiversity and sustainable development. Journalists can help us to reach out more effectively to the vast majority of citizens who are not yet actively involved in conservation and reducing their footprint. Whose primary concern is their home, job, family and friends. Thanks for the invitation to join the Biodiversity Media Alliance. I just want to use my first post here to say that I work on the ex situ conservation of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture, including crop wild relatives, but my interests extend to the conservation and sustainable use of agrobiodiversity in general, by whatever means :)
