Having worked for Fauna & Flora International for nine years, five of which in Aceh, Indonesia focussing on community based natural resource management, I have recently co-founded a local NGO called Rincong. Rincong is a membership based NGO aiming to facilitate understanding and recognition of community interests amoung stakeholders in order to support traditional and indigenous communities in Aceh (known as Mukim) to manage natural resources in a sustainable way.
